While we develop the world’s first gender equality learning app, we appreciate the use of other formats, such as workshops and keynotes. Workshops and seminars are a wonderful way to work in person with the group’s needs and answer questions directly when they arise. Equalista is about building relationships, so we celebrate getting into right relationship in our workshops and model the world we want to see. Transform yourself to transform the world

As the quote from Grace Lee Boggs, which is also the title of our favorite workshop, indicates, a new world starts with us. While it is often easier to focus on external factors, in this workshop we look at the transformative potential in each one of us. You will learn how to shift your attention toward what is in your control and how that impacts your relationships and the systems you are a part of.

Transformational relationships

This workshop follows the workshop “Transform yourself to transform the world.” Once we understand our own transformational potential, we explore how to put that into practice in our intimate relationships, friendships, families, at work, and in our communities.

Bootstrapping 101

Is founding a company only for people with money or when you have investors? In this workshop, we showcase, with our own example, how it is possible to start a company with little money and how that might even be more sustainable. We share our learnings and mistakes and provide an honest view of what it means to bootstrap a company. Part of the workshop is also a self-assessment to understand whether bootstrapping is a good option for you.
